Abstract

This Research project for scientific Initiation is part of the Integrated Project entittled " History of science and the History of the University in the São Paulo state interior", Co-ordinated by Professor Rosa Fatima de Souza and developed jointly with the Professor Waldemar Saffiotti Cultural Center Memory and Documentation Center(NDM - CCPWS),which belongs to Paulista State University,Campus at Araraquara. It aims at Contributing in the organization of the Photographic Arquive for the Science and Letters Faculty of the UNESP in Araraquara referring to the period from 1959 to 2000, Proceeding to the study of the context of aquive production and the identification of the images producing their subtitles and descriptive summaries.
