Abstract

The proposal aims to explore ammonium salts to be prepared from retronecine, a necine base obtained from alkaloids isolated from Senecio brasiliensis, as chiral phase transfer catalysts in the asymmetric alkylation of O'Donnell imine. The methodology will then be evaluated in the preparation of some heterocyclic compounds.
