Abstract

Caring for dying patients is an essential aspect of nursing care. Last 20 years many studies have revealed that nurses felt unprepared in dealing with the dying patients and their families. This study aims to investigate the perspectives of nursing students about caring for those patients. A pehnomenological approach is proposed and data will be collected via interviews with nursing students which have lived this experience. One sole question will guide the interviews: "What does it means to care for dying patients?" (AU)
