Abstract

The existence of digital devices used for the interaction with the system of television today practised does not guarantee that these devices are adjusted to the advances considered with Televisão Digital Interativa (TVDI). Moreover, the existence of a number of equipment that makes remote-control use makes the interfaces more complex to the interaction with the TVDI, considering the existing problems with the remote control already discussed in literature by diverse authors. A more direct interaction with the TVDI depends on making the focus of the interaction more to the interface of the interactive applications than at the physical device of interaction. As discussed in previous research, we arrived at a solution of monomodal interface for the TVDI: the Adjustable Interactive Rings (AIRs). Thus, on the basis of the preceding research results, we present in this document a proposal of study, conception, proposal and definition of an interface of multimodal interaction for the TVDI, based on the AIRs; also we will investigate its instanciação in digital devices and its validation with a target audience.
