Abstract

Constructive possibilities that allow the exploration more and more efficient of the natural light control , for example, the brises soleil, the light shelves and the cobogós, are becoming more and more useful. This study focus the growing need of making good use of the natural resources, as solar light, a copious resource in Brazil. Possibilities that were used in architecture constructions are being explored again with the purpose of allow a better control of the incidence of the natural light. This search intend develop a methodology for the elaboration of architecture elements perforated and modular that allow the filtration, the control and the conduct of the light inspired in effects of light and shadow presents in Islamic art. For the development of these elements, a grammar compose will be used based on geometric transformations that allow the creation of different elements groups generate based on modular units. Expect as result that these studies allow the creation of new and versatile groups of perforated elements that allow a better control of natural light, possibiliting a good use of this resource as a economy of energy.
