Abstract

The lack of indicators and tools for the urban planning hinders that many problems, caused for the accelerated growth of the cities, they are brightened up. This work will analyze, in three neighborhoods of the city of Piracicaba, the relation between the circulation of vehicles and tree covering, two components linked to the air quality question. The tool that will be used for this study is the aerial videography, chosen for being a fast and satisfactory method and for the attainment of the urban targets. This study it will be able to base the implementation of public politics in the scope of the reorganization of urban spaces, in the search of cities with more life quality. (AU)
