Abstract

The immediate loading implants has several advantages which include the needing of only one surgery and immediate delivery of prosthesis reducing significantly the time consuming of the treatment. However, this technique demands more operative time than conventional implant surgery because the needing to performed all prosthetic procedures.Therefore the goal of this study is evaluate the patient discomfort following single tooth implant surgery. It will be used 24 patients randomly divided in immediate loading group (A) and Non immediate loading group (B). In order to evaluate the patient discomfort it will be used a Visual Analog Scale (VAS) immediate after surgery and 1, 2, 3 days post operative. The VAS will be measured in millimeters and the data will be analyzed using T-student test.
