Abstract

This project has for main objective to do colloidal incorporation of nanoparticles of gold in fine membranes of natural rubber for application in sensor. The membranes will be prepared for the casting method, starting from the rubber tree, clone of Hevea brasiliensis, that they will be deposited on glass, used in the syntheses of metallic nanoparticles, for the method of reaction in situ, using the solution of gold tetrachloride (Au-III). The characterization studies will be made by spectroscopy in the ultra-violet (UV-vis), spectroscopy for infrared (FT-IR) and micro Raman, thermal analyses (DSC, TG and DMA), analysis thermogravimetric coupled to the infrared (TG/FT-IR), mechanical properties (stress x strain) and measures of electric conductivity in the volume and in function of the pressure. The growth kinetics and production of the membranes still to be explored in the production of sensorial units for the electronic language.
