Abstract

This project aims at the approach of the mythical-poetical dimension of thinking by the most important literary authors and philosophers of Early German Romanticism. We will focus on two different moments of F.W.J. Schelling’s work, the System of Transcendental Idealism and Philosophy of Identity, which can be read as a echoing of the work from the Jena Romantics as well as a systemic myth theory. Through the analysis of the concepts symbol and allegory, Schelling intends to direct a critical review of Kantian negativity, working from a “metaphysics of transit” towards to Art, and not Logic, as the organon of philosophy.
