Abstract

The object of this research is to carry out a phytosociologic registering of the weed species which occur in the culture of banana in Ribeira Valley, and to determine the efficiency of the different kinds of herbicide associated or not with the urea in the control of these species. The registering of the weed community will be held in field in Ribeira Valley in the city of Registro, São Paulo state. For the exhibition of the present weed species, to be done in two distinct areas, with two hectar each, it will be used the square inventory method of 0,50 x 0,50 meters. With the obtained result it will be calculated frequency, density, relative application of the treatment with the herbicide glyphosate (360 gL-1) and amonio-glufosinato (200 gL-1) and urea (0; 0,5; 1,0; e 1,5%), in post-emergency of the weed plants and of the culture. The experiment will be arranged in a randomized block design with five repetitions and experimental portions with 2,0 m wide by 6,0 m long. For the realization of the pulverizations from the fan kind Teejet 110.02 and 180 L.ha-1 of a solution will be applied. The valuation in the visual control will be carried out on the 7, 14, 21, 28, 48, 68, 88 and 100 days after the application of the herbicide. It will also be done the monitoring of the rebrota and the time needed for the new application and the selectivity and performance of the fruit by portion will be submitted to the analysis of variance by test F and average compared by test “t” to 5% probability.
