Abstract

AbstractThe research proposal aims to develop laboratory studies about a mixing of soil and sand using partially evolved soil of Vale do Paraiba County, SP, establishing appropriate percentage of components materials and get the constant demand impose by technical specification ET-DE-P00/015 of the Roads Department of São Paulo State (DER/SP) to work as sub base or base on fine sandy soil of lateritic actions - SAFL. Basing on obtained results is going to be possible to measure the applicability of this kind of soil and sand mixing in structural layers of low traffic roads floor.
