Abstract The main goal of this project is to initiate the student in the scope of methods used in the Time and Frequency Metrology area. Such methods help to determine different noise sources in signals generated with high performance oscillators, frequency synthesis and transfer systems. Specifically, during the period, the activities will be concentrated in a central reference system, under development in our laboratory. This system will enable the establishment of a local time coordinate, as well as a link between time and frequency signal measured in the laboratory and the Universal Time Coordinate, with the use of satellite receivers. | |
