The goal of this project is the implementation of an acquisition and processing system for biological signals, which also permits a wireless remotely communication between the device and a computer network. The first step will be dedicated to the development of analog circuit for conditioning, filtering and amplification biological signals such as encephalogram (EEG), electrocardiogram (ECG), electromyogram (EMG). Moreover, it will be done an instrumentation that allows the signal acquisition and digital processing, in order to extract characteristics that allow to apply appropriate methods of data mining. In the third step, it will be design an embedded system, integrating the hardware (circuit associated with a Digital Signal Processor) and dedicated software to the acquisition and processing of specific algorithm. The last step will be dedicated to the information transmission for a remote net by a wireless transmission method, on the basis of an architecture of Plug and Play Sensors Network, that it allows to the use of resources of the Virtual Instrumentation and its applications in a Virtual Laboratory. So, it is intended to specify a platform of acquisition of signals for interface man-computer in order to integrate the algorithms processing and development for the analysis and diagnosis of biological signals and to assist the development of Wireless Sensors Network, based in the protocol IEEE 1451.5.
