Abstract

This project proposes to study chemical Tonina fluviatilis belonging to the Eriocaulaceae.Later, it was the preparation of extracts from the aerial parts (chapters, scapes and leaves) by percolation and / or maceration using organic solvents. The fractionation and isolation of substances by conventional chromatographic techniques (gel permeation, silica), HPLC, MPLC, etc.. and identification of substances by techniques (IR, UV, MS, NMR).The chemical analysis will contribute to multidisciplinary studies, especially for a discussion of its taxonomy and also to the provision of extracts, fractions and pure substances with possible biological potential (in collaboration with research groups of the IQ-UNESP-Araraquara, IB-Unesp -Botucatu and FCF-Araraquara-Unesp).
