Abstract

To estimate the contribution of the variables of physical growth and maturation, the changes in motor performance of athletes in track and field beginners of both genders, is a factor in dire need to seek support for sports performance in view of the sporting careers of young athletes. Will be participating in this follow-up young athletes, in the age of 12 and 18 years belonging to a sports club in the state of Sao Paulo, which has among its modalities athletics in the categories of age in both sexes. Be accompanied by indicators of physical growth through anthropometry indicators maturation through sexual maturation and performance engines, with specific tests for each subdivision of these physiological indicators. The performances of the driving force will be explored as an indicator of Explosive Force (EF), Explosive Strength Elastic (FEE), and Explosive Strength Elastic Reflex (FEER) to be checked from the vertical jump test, with the techniques: Squat Jump (SJ) , Counter Moviment Jump (CMJ) and Counter Moviment Jump in 5 seconds (CJ5s). The motor speed indicators will be monitored by the test speed (30 m). The variables that characterize the body composition will be: lean body mass (LBM), thigh muscle area (AMCX), through measures of body mass, lengths, widths bone diameters and skinfolds. Participants self-assess maturity according to the classification of Tanner sexual maturity. The expected results are that the relationship of the increase in motor performance with advancing maturation and physical growth, young people respond to particular changes of each component to training, with critical periods, which are particularly sensitive to changes specific to each component with the sports training.
