Abstract

This project is part of a net cooperation project among UNESP,UNICAMP and UFMG, entitled Urban Thermal Environment, which aims the development of integrated studies on the influence of urban structures for a methodology consolidation, linking field collection measurements to numerical modeling. In order to collaborate to that project, this research intends to verify the ENVI-met potentialities for Brazilian urban climate analysis. Simulated data will be compared to real ones. In the city of Bauru-SP, a residential neighborhood will be the study area, in which climatic studies were already carried out by other researchers. Moreover, it will be possible to identify the climatic features of the study area.
