Abstract

In this project we consider to study transition metals oxides (doped or not), in nanoparticle system or in form bulk. The interest in these systems is based mainly in the progress of pure science and by the motivation to the possible applications. To follow will be discussed the importance of these systems, and some preliminary magnetic and structural results will be presented. It will be shown also the importance in the research of theses materials based in the characterization techniques, and mainly, in studies magnetic in the doped samples. The present work will use magnetic and structural characterization techniques available in the Materials and Low Temperature Laboratory (LMBT) in IFGW at UNICAMP and structural techniques at Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratoy (LNLS). This last will involve a series of experimental studies using electronic microscopy, X-ray absorption and X-ray diffraction all available at LNLS.
