Abstract

This research project aims to collect and analyze the dramatic criticism produced by Patricia Galvao (1910-1962), placing them in the context of the Brazilian theater, recovering remains of theatrical representations of the time and discovering the author's view on the theater.Despite the recognized importance of the artist and his cultural and social activism, there is, in the literature, no material on the subject.As the main source of research will use the collections of papers in which Pagu worked.As expected outcome, beyond the monograph, it will be sent a copy of the material LIMCAC (Laboratory for Information and Memory, Department of Performing Arts, School of Communication and Arts, University of São Paulo), to be available to the general public and students of theater.
