Abstract The thesis of arbitrariness of grammar proposes that the constitution and the functioning of the rules of the grammar of any language is not determined by any extra-linguistic element. This project proposes a reflection on this topic starting from the study of the ostensive definitions, specially in cases in which samples are used for the definition of a word. (AU) | |
