Abstract

The purpose of this project is to develop a research on homosexuality within the complex relations it sets with other social markers of difference. More specifically, it's about reflecting on the interactions among (homo)sexuality, "race" and social class in the ways they take amid the dynamics of certain life trajectories. The scope will focus on the strategies to which homosexual individuals who belong to the upper classes of São Paulo city may appeal in order to amplify their range of action. The fieldwork must start from a specific place of sociability and then start selecting individuals to carry out interviews in a life history format.
