Abstract

The aim of this project is to understand the mechanisms involved in the colloidal systems formation from poly(titaniuma oxide) species with surface modified by para-toluen sulfonic acid (PTSH) dispersed in isopropanol, that present a sticking thermo-induced reversible sol-gel transition. The effects of formulations parameters associated to the physico-chemical synthesis conditions on the thermoreversibility of the sol-gel transition will be evaluated from SAXS and QELS nanoscopic structural analysis, NMR and Raman local order spectroscopies and surface charges characterisatics. Focus will be done to the sol-gel process parameters that could support mesoporous materials preparation to be used as membranes, intelligent and/or controlled delivery devices. (AU)
