Abstract

Stereoscopy is a phenomenal that does a person feels the profundity sensation when a scene is observed. By using the binocular mechanism, the human brain treats two-dimensional images in order to obtain this effect, considering that each eye sees one image, determining the stereo vision. The use of Virtual Reality to construct medical applications have been growing in relation to techniques and special tools to simulate, with high degree of realism, situations and procedures linked to several fields of the health area. These technologies supply to the professional of health a rich source of studies and diagnosis, providing a high level of interaction and immersion. The objective of this project is implement techniques of anaglyph in applications using Virtual Reality aimed at facilitate medical training, allowing obtain immersion sensation with low cost in this kind applications.
