Abstract

Management computer simulators are used in courses for students of applied social sciences, providing a practical learning under uncertainty and testing the applicability of theories learned during the undergraduate years. The use of organizational simulators is one base of the tripod Laboratory of Management (SAUAIA, 2008, p.3). They represent an efficient tool to provide experiential learning focused on participating and promoting the production of applied research, proposed by assistant professor of FEA / USP / SP, Antonio Carlos Aidar Sauaia. In this project will be developed an online organizational simulator grounded in neoclassical and neoinstitucional economics theories, creating an complete economic environment done to the conceptual practice of students, which will enable the Applied Research and Experiential Learning, offered by Sauaia (2008), and assist partners across the country in its activities related to Laboratory of Management. The environment will include:* Macroenvironment, focused on aggregate quantities (GPI, GDP and others) and government actions (industrial, fiscal and tax, among others);* Microenvironment, focused on explanation of the performance of other economic agents (consumers and firms) and transaction costs. The implementation should be performed in order to facilitate new simulators.
