Abstract

The aim of this visit is to participate in the development and application of methodologies and computational tools by the researchers of LIA/ECL, in the modeling and simulation of electromagnetic fields distribution considering the environment layout. These tools may facilitate the management of electromagnetic interference risk caused by radiation sources (medical and non medical equipment) in hospitals. Also, we intended to be perform measurements of electromagnetic fields emitted by medical equipment and its distribution in the hospital environment, in order to validate the computational packages.
