Abstract Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) are fields of knowledge relatively recent and it is increasing its use by academic community. In Agricultural Science, Data Mining has been considered an important alternative due to technological advances during last years. These technological advances have been allowing increasing data collection and storage; furthermore, there are many historical data available, such as rain and temperature. The Project Plan proposed includes a three-month stay in two Spanish universities: two months at the University of Oviedo and one month at the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in order to have a closer contact with research groups working with Data Mining applied to agricultural problems. The objective is to identify research projects that will lead collaboration between our research groups that could end in any kind of bi-lateral funded project. These projects will allow the publication of papers in national and international scientific journals. (AU) | |
