Abstract

We will observe 24 obscured Giant Galactic HII regions at the 4-m Blanco Telescope (CTIO), with ISPI camera, looking for young OB stars. The near-infrared color-color and color-magnitude diagrams will enable the identification of massive YSOs and naked photosphere OB stars, these ones candidates for follow up spectroscopy. K-band spectroscopy will enable the determination of the spectrofotometric distance and so the entire stellar contents, independent of the commonly used kinemactic model. (AU)
