Abstract

This project aims the development of prototypes of supercapacitors and li-ion battery based on carbon nanotube/felt composite and chemical species with electroactivity. The prototypes will be prepared and studied in the ENEA labs. ENEA s labs have a huge infra-structure (dry-room with about 60 m2)and experience in the development of ventures project with companies in the capacitors and battery field. The lab. will provide special electrolytes (gel and/or ionic liquid)for the devices. The composites CNT/felt will be prepared in the Rib. Preto s lab. In this way will be possibel foward the CNT/felt patent (under request, FAPESP grant) and eventualy new that might be patented too. During the project will be visit also the Franco Decker s lab at University of Rome to discussion about the Ferrocene-CNT/Si electrodes for electrochemical and electronic applications. (AU)
