Abstract

This is study is concerning with a comparative study between the three topologies available to be used in pulsed modulators to drive high power klystron amplifiers. These topologies are PFN, Marx modulators and converter/modulators. The selected topology will be used in a proton accelerator experiment to produce spallation neutron source induced by microwaves.
