Abstract

Usaremos o código computacional CMFGEN para modelar espectros de alta resolução de estrelas do tipo LBV, tomados no LNA e ESO ao longo dos últimos 12 anos. Queremos estudar a taxa de perda de massa ao longo do ciclo S Doradus dessas estrelas e definir se este é o principal mecanismo de perda de massa de estrelas de alta massa. (AU)
