Abstract

We intend to study the transport properties and the subband mobilities of a spin-polarized electron gas in single and two coupled semimagnetic semiconductor quantum wells. (1) calculation of the electron mobility of each subband and the intersubband spin-flip due to screened impurity scattering; (2) Electron transport in two coupled Cd1-xZnxTe quantum wells with non-uniform doping in an in-plan magnetic field; (3) Intersubband electron-electron scattering and spin-flip effects; and (4) Plasmon eixcitations and optical properties of the multisubband spin polarized electron gas.
