Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to analyze the role of social markers of difference in the dynamics of interaction and in the life trajectories of individuals who define themselves as homosexuals and belong to upper classes. More specifically, it is about thinking how class, race, age and seropositivity more or less rigorously define certain fields of possibilities: constraining, amplifying or even creating new spaces for agency to these individuals. The fieldwork was made in the city of São Paulo among a network of men and women aged between 40 and 55 years. (AU)
