Abstract | |
This work discusses the fifth period of Jean-François Lyotard\'s thought that will present a criticism of the condition that would have gone to characterise the post-industrial capitalist world and would result in the emergence of a postmodern culture. The art, that in his reflections appears as a form of resistance against this condition, will be central to our work. So, we will discuss his elaboration of the counter aesthetics of material presence and his art criticism, which has in his reflections a very particular sense. This period corresponds to the Kantian turn of his thought and therefore his reading of the Critique of judgment plays an important role in our work. So we decided to explore a moment of great importance in the thought of Lyotard and that proved to be of great relevance to the current debate on aesthetics and politics. (AU) | |
