Abstract

This thesis studies the "Projeto Roteiros Nacionais de Imigração" (National Immigration Routes Project), a federal, state and municipal project that aims at safeguarding the heritage of German, Italian, Pole and Ukrainian immigrants located in the state of Santa Catarina and by its protection, intend give the appropriate knowledge to the immigrants and its heritage. Launched by IPHAN in 2009, the Project collected researches produced over 20 years in the State of Santa Catarina that aimed to create an ethnical identity in the State, conformed by its safeguarding instruments: the "tombamento" and "chancela" regarding cultural landscape. The project¿s analysis has been demonstrated how a decision to elect a group of immigrants as legacies¿ icon - identified as a rural worker living in a complete and harmoniously integration with its small rural landscape ¿ witch heritage is demonstrated by scenography images. The project "Roteiros" create a tourism product witch intention is commercialize not only a cultural identity but also a group of values assigned by cultic agents, who offer its product under labels¿ landscape cultural (AU)
