Abstract

The aim of this Dissertation is to describe and analyze the entrepreneurial strategy of the "University of Campinas" (UNICAMP) for the consolidation of "Unicamp Science and Technology Park". This strategy is materialized, from 2008, when the UNICAMP takes the lead the implementation project of the Science Park within its university campus, which focuses on gathering facilities dedicated to house laboratories for carrying out R&D projects between research groups of UNICAMP and interested companies. However, this Dissertation shows that the implementation of this innovation space, despite having a much more explicit support from the University, faces major obstacles that must on the one hand the lack of interest from Anchors Companies to invest significant resources in research laboratories and on the other hand the lack of continuity of public policies encouraging the Science and Technology Parks. It concludes that to achieve significant results in the long term and strengthen relations between the University and Company a greater commitment of these actors is needed (AU)
