The steady growth in the use of computer networks technologt has demanded for good mcmagement tools. Additionally the advances made in the hardware ond software industries brougth up a new r(mge of applications which make use of several medias such as audio, still images, video, graphics ønd text tofacilitate the interaction between users. This work presents an experience on introùtcing multimedia capabilities on a Computer Network Management System, through the development of a system which can acquire, transmit and displry mtdio and video in order to help to improve the communication between network administrøtors and users. The Audio and Video\'s System developed was attached to MultView Ahe Computer NetworkManagement System in development at ICMSC-USP) and høve shown the improvements that systems like this addto applicotionswhere they are used.
