Abstract

This doctoral thesis aims to present some aspects of diagnosis of present time of Th. W. Adorno¿s work. Those aspects changed throughout his work, and the main goal of this thesis is to explain how these changes affected your critical model. It intends to present the reasons why Adorno and Max Horkheimer claimed in the preface Dialectic of Enlightenment (edition of 1969) that the trend to full integration is "suspended but not stopped". This doctoral thesis therefore presents how the "new" diagnosis indicates some potential of resistance. This change in his critical model, which has occurred since 1958, had as one of its goals to indicate theses potentials of resistance inside a totality dominated by the late capitalism. Concepts such as culture, autonomy and especially dialectics and experience are the conceptual constellation that are accompanied throughout the chapters of this thesis (AU)
