Abstract

The present research proposes an analysis of Brava Compania 's theatre play JC - subject matters and language tools used - allied to the study of the process of creation, having as perspective its relationship with the Fomento ao Teatro para a Cidade de São Paulo law. The dissertation discusses the group's relationship with the context in which it is geographically and politically inserted, as well as making a brief tour of the Brava Compania's history - plays, recurrent themes, political actions, and the Arte Contra a Barbárie movement (AU)
