Abstract

The presence of creative centers and theatrical training with children within groups aligned with the perspective of \"theater of group\" is a constant in Latin American theater. Many of these artistic processes are associated with different modalities of cultural action and are translated into scenic scriptures, creative workshops, symbolic gestures that make visible, in the public / community sphere, the power of children\'s singularity and their modes of \"politicity\". Likewise, these processes question the historical models through which power relations have configured Latin American childhoods and colonized children\'s bodies, establishing a significant break in the boundaries between the spheres of artistic creation and pedagogy. In this sense, the research analyzes artistic practices of four groups (Companhia Paidéia de Teatro, from Brazil; Vichama Teatro, from Peru; Corporação Cultural Nuestra Gente, from Colombia and Teatro Trono, from Bolivia), associated with modalities of cultural action with children from disadvantaged social backgrounds, with the interest of unveiling the implications of these processes in the configuration of child subjectivity, as a possible aspect of pedagogical reflection in theater with children in the region. The contributions of the study are verified by showing the different assemblages that modulate the subjective universe of children when mediated by theatrical processes, and their reach in the configuration of micro-transformations in them (of an attitudinal, behavioral, social relationship character), being able to contribute with more inclusive, tolerant, equitable and fair models of community coexistence. Also research systematize scenic forms and expressions of these four collectives and the pedagogical principles that guide their processes of teaching theater to children. Taking into account that the theatrical practice induces a chain of natural thoughts of complexity, the research proposes a theoretical exercise from a metaphorical look, building a dense, hybrid and polyphonic discursive fabric that articulates analytical-academic texts, conjunctural chronicle and self-fictional and documentary accounts of the author and the experiences followed in each of the four Latin American countries.
