Abstract

The aim of this research was to understand the health produced, lived and dreamed by the peasantry through the intersectionality of the South American struggle for land and water, within the Via Campesina counter space. For this, the research started from the understanding that the current space is produced by the tension of the patriarchal-capitalist-racist system, and that it is triple perverse with women from countries that contain socio-spatial training on a slave basis. Thus, the research started from the comparative analyzes of the speeches and memories of the people who made up the Movement of Landless Rural Workers (MST) in the state of Paraíba (Brazil) and in the Unión de los trabajadores Rurales Sien Tierra (UST-MNCI) in the province of Mendoza (Argentina). In Brazil, 7 reports by MST-PB activists were heard and transcribed, 5 women and 2 men, while 8 people participated in Argentina, 7 women and 1 man, UST activists. From the expressive presence of women, the research revealed the need to highlight female and feminist decolonial health promotion practices that are built in both movements, through their relationships in networks. Therefore, the results of the research revealed that Peasant and Popular Feminism is one of the main elements of the peasantry's contraspace that promotes health. (AU)
