Abstract

In this work, we present the concept of F-transform or integral transform of Fouriertype and explore necessary and sufficient conditions for Pitts inequality. The results are obtained as a consequence of Hausdorff-Young type inequalities and Calderón type results for F-transforms. As an application of the results, we recover the celebrated Pitts inequality for the Hankel transform and for the Fourier transform of radial functions. (AU)
