Abstract

In Brazil, where most of domestic waste is disposed in dump and the organic residues represent dangerous to surfaoe and groundwater contamination because form the íeadieat (fermentation of organic fraction). In this Work the alimentary residues were trahsformed In a ingredient to broiler chickens using selective collection, trituration, sterilization in autoclave and dried. The characíerization dates permitted to elaborate the broiler chickens feed with percentages of ingredient from waste in 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% in association with corn bran and soybean bran. The ingredient viability was satisfactory to broiler chickens nutrition considering several index: Consumption Feed, Weight Acquisition and Alimentary Conversion Index. The characterization analysis confirmed that fact when show a good composition to several important nutrients to poultry: protein, calcium, phosphorus and metabolizable energy. The costs to process the alimentary residues in ingredient to feed was R$0,16/kg. (AU)
