Abstract

The objective of this work is to research solutions to minimize the interruptions of supply of electric energy, provoked by defects in repaired distribution transformers and to propose methodology for its return to the system. They will be researched the main causes of defects in transformers, above all repaired us, motivated by severe solicitations of the distribution net where are installed or for improper repair practices. Identified the causes, alternatives will be analyzed of avoiding them or of qualifying the transformer for such operative situations and still, of characterizing risk situations, associated the approaches of application of the repaired transformers, proposing a methodology for return of the repaired transformers to the system, considering aspects of its pre-fault life, the impact of the defect, the made repair, as well as the situation of the system where will be applied and the operative conditions.
