Abstract | |
Nowadays the image based medical diagnosis is a complex task involving doctors that take care of the local attendance and specialists geographically dispersed. Particularly in radiology, many applications for medical diagnosis are based on techniques of image processing whre great computation complexity and large databases are required. In this work we propose the development of a cooperative environment for teleradiology that allow advanced resources sharing among several users geographically dispersed. To reach our objective we will use CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work) techniques that allow the interaction among users in a WAN (Wide Area Network) network and the computational resources sharing offered by special servers.
