The 2002 post election context gives us the datas to the study of the attitude and values of conservator people about the social relation and the democratic system adhesion and its procedures. This paradox characterizes the brazilian democratic experience of the last years. The studies of ESEB - Brazilian Election Study - tried to identify opinion and attitudes of the brazilian people concern to the question of the social cultural ambit and concern to politics institutions. The analyses of the datas show us elements in order to comprise the conservatism that exists on the social dynamic as a multidimensional phenomenon. To the brazilian people, the social cultural dimension, where it could be found conservatory emplacementy, and the politic word dimension, are two distincts dimensions. On the value map of the brazilian people, the normative adhesion to the democracy is very strong, but the democratization keeps the authoritarian society lines determinated by preconceptions based on the social hierarchy lines and which has on your social economics bases its principal grounds.
