| Abstract | |
This study realizes an analysis of the intellectual and social capital in local productive arrangements. This study was developed in São Paulo State by using the method of a case study in a cluster of high technology in São Carlos city. The methodology of this study is based in two stages. The first one refers to a bibliographical research, which objective was to extend the theoretical knowledge on the involved subjects in the present study and to develop the proposal of a conceptual model to analyses the intellectual and social capital in local productive arrangements. In the second stage, a qualitative research was conducted with companies involved in the arrangement. The objective of this stage was analyze the model proposed and describes the results obtained. The results of the study contribute for a better understanding of the local productive arrangements. The study concludes that it is necessary to share the intellectual and social capital between the companies involved and to join economic, social and cultural sources to the arrangement succeed. Future recommendations are presented toward the study that can improve the proposal model. (AU) | |
