The present invention patent application relates to a soft concurrent back-propagation process that efficiently propagates the useable information present, in the frequency domain, in order to update the coefficients of the temporal equalizer. The objective of the present soft concurrent back-propagation process is to increase data flows in the OFDM system more efficiently, since it enables the cyclic prefix of the OFDM symbol to be reduced or even eliminated.
