Abstract

(EN) The present invention relates to a method for obtaining hydroxylated oligomers of bisphenol A polycarbonate, with a molar mass controlled by a chemical reaction with a solvent in a homogenous medium using glycols, generating bisphenol A as a by-product. The present invention relates to the field of applied chemistry and more specifically to the field of polymers, in the production of polyols as reactive components in formulations of thermoplastics, thermosets and elastomers. The incorporation of these oligomers into formulations is intended to modulate the physico-chemical, optical and mechanical properties of the product. The present invention relates to a method for obtaining hydroxylated oligomers of bisphenol A polycarbonate that can be used in the chemical recycling of polycarbonate waste.
