Abstract

(EN) The present invention relates to a process for obtaining nanocomposites of poly(L-lactide) by in situ ring-opening polymerization without inertization of the reaction medium or use of a solvent. The present invention is different in that it is based on the elimination of the inertization step, the fact that solvents are not used, and the fact that clay is added slowly and continuously, providing a simplified process, with improved homogenization between the filler and the polymeric matrix, and avoiding the release of toxic agents to the environment. The present invention pertains to the field of chemistry and more precisely to the area of biomaterials for fabric and packaging engineering.
