In short, the method disclosed in the present invention is aimed at increasing the detection sensitivity of inner faults in devices, mainly power transformers, but is also useful for detecting inner faults in other devices, such as motors, generators, shunt reactors, capacitor banks, transmission lines and even a combination of multiple devices in the protection zone. The present method increases the sensitivity to inner faults, thereby reducing operation times and damages to devices protected by this method.
