Abstract

(EN) The present invention describes a microfluidic system for producing chitosan nanoparticles, in which the microfluidic system includes a hydrodynamic focusing device that uses a central current of acidified water and two lateral currents comprising chitosan and a cross-linking agent, separately. The invention also describes a microfluidic method for producing chitosan nanoparticles that includes ionotropic gelation using said microfluidic system, as well as the chitosan nanoparticle obtained by said microfluidic method and the use thereof to produce non-viral vectors for gene delivery, but specifically for gene therapy and to carry and deliver drugs.
